That is pretty cool. I wish I could add books to my library using my Android phone… hint hint nudge nudge…

i wish google would have a charge service to have all ebooks on there, so we dont kill more trees or carry 40lbs of books to each class.

You can use the Barcode Scanner app on your android phone to do this – just scan and click on the Book Search button when the barcode has been recognized – jumps to Google Books in your browser – sign-in and volia! Working great for me – easy peasy.

Indeed! Worked wonderfully, I completely forgot Barcode Scanner recognized books vs other products. Thanks for the tip.

    Great job!
I want to use this to scan in “checked out books” from the library to have a record of every book I have, well, at least checked out. (Wish I had it from when I first seriously starting using the library. (H.S.
Some libraries offer this-mine does not.
Also I use the Universities library too.
Thanks Google and this is free?! What a great company.
