First official announcement about the future of Magnetic Sponsoring

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Just checking my email on my day off, and I got this email from Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring.

So I thought I would share it with my readers.

See the website below to join Mike’s newsletter and get his free 10 day boot camp emails.

Well Jason, it’s a nice Sunday morning here in Austin, (though you’ll
be reading this on Monday). Downtown is packed with an additional 50,000 to
100,000+ people this weekend for the big Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Fest
which is one of the marquee events held here each year.

The line-up is pretty amazing… Bob Dylan, The Killers, Muse, Queens of the
Stone Age, Wilco, Joss Stone, Spoon, Common, Pete Yorn, and another100+
bands will be playing from morning ’til night.

Personally I have yet to attend as the idea of walking for miles to the venue,
fighting crowds, and standing in front of a stage for hours under the Texas sun
less than appealing.

So while the many music revelers enjoy what I’m sure is an amazing show,
I wanted to take some time to catch up with you this afternoon and share
some pretty special news.

First, allow me to apologize to Sandy, Kim T, Joshua S, and the rest of you
who have sent emails of concern regarding my absence lately.

I’ve always tried to send out at least two new issues of the Magnetic Sponsoring
Newsletter a week, but as many have noticed, that number has dropped to about
1 a month.

Why? There are a handful of reasons. Some urgent. Others not so much. One of
them concerns you actually, but more about that in a minute…

On the immediate horizon, I’m faced with the fact that in less than two weeks,
(on the 29th), I’ll be hitting a pretty big milestone as far as life goes…
My 30th birthday.

My friends and family continue to pester me with questions and curiosity on
how I’ll be celebrating the day… Flying to Vegas? New York? A tropical beach?

Not quite…

To be honest, I’ve never been a big birthday guy. I’m uncomfortable with the
idea of others making a fuss over me, and what I consider just another day.

After all, I’ll be the same person the following day at age 30, as I was 24 hours
earlier at age 29, so I just don’t see a reason for myself or others to make a big
deal about it.

None-the-less, hitting such a milestone does force you to sit back and take an
account of your life thus far.

For me, turning 30 means I’ve been in this industry for just over 10 years.

Sitting in my dorm room, I began that journey with a book you’ve probably read
a few times as well… Think And Grow Rich.

Following the instructions provided by Mr. Hill, I wrote down two goals for my
career in this industry over a decade ago:

To be a millionaire before my 30th birthday, and to be one of a few people to
have made a noticeable impact as a leader on the entire industry.

For some reason, I KNEW I would accomplish both, even when I was broke and
waiting tables just three years ago, still as far from my goals as possible despite
7 years of effort.

When things were at rock bottom, I always reverted back to two lessons in that
book…

If you keep your faith and focus, your mind will ALWAYS find a way to accomplish
your goal no matter how bleak the outlook may be right now, and that the biggest
successes are found one step beyond you’re most desperate struggle.

I can personally attest to the truth behind this wisdom, and I’m proud to say that
through endless work and education, I’ve attained my goals.

But now I’m faced with the fairly large and obvious question of…

WHAT NEXT!?

When things get quiet around here and the newsletters seem to trickle to a stop
as they’ve done over the past months, questions flood the office and rumors
start to swirl because some of you have figured out that bouts of silence from me,
mean that something VERY BIG is about to happen.

Due to my past emails, most have assumed that I’m about to retire, shut down
Magnetic Sponsoring, sell my home, and travel the world.

Well that’s correct. (Mostly).

Six months ago, I declared two new goals for myself…

Many of you already know the first: To sell my home and back-pack around the
world.

Well the “for sale” sign was posted in the yard about eight weeks ago, and I’m
planning to leave in February after the holidays.

Where to? Anywhere and everywhere, but no matter what the destination, I’m
looking forward to finally meeting as many of you as I can.

As for MagneticSponsoring.com, the company, and the system are concerned,
they will cease to exist as you’ve known them within the next two weeks.

Instead, they will be replaced with a brand new site dedicated to my closet
passion… The valuable pursuit of collecting and trading Beenie Babies on Ebay.

Just Kidding! ;)

Truth be told, I was inspired by my friend Eben Pagan to take Magnetic Sponsoring
to its full potential.

Yes, after 10 years I’m ready to take-on new challenges in other industries, but
thanks to your support, and with your continued help, WE have an opportunity to
make a life-changing impact on millions of people around the world, and I can’t
walk away from such an important obligation.

With that said, I’d like to make the first official announcement about the future
of Magnetic Sponsoring here and now…

I intend to transform MagneticSponsoring.com into the most valuable, and most
visited website in the world for network marketers in less than 18 months
- serving more people each day than Oprah.com or CBS.com to put my ambition
into perspective.

This is more than wishful thinking.

For months, our little team has been working day and night to turn this intention
into a physical reality.

12 programmers have racked up an estimated 350 hours of custom programming,
and we’ve already invested over $120,000 on email deliverability alone.

So what’s the site about, when will it go live, and how will it benefit you and YOUR
goals Jason?

I don’t have time to get into the good stuff today, but stay tuned for more details
this week. Launch dates and programmers don’t mix, (I say that lovingly), but
head over to http://www.MagneticSponsoring.com on September 29th.

Hopefully I’ll have a present for you…

Sincerely,

Mike Dillard
