Today is Day 29.
Today were reading from Proverbs Chapter 29.
Proverbs 29:1Â A man who hardens his neck when reproved shall be suddenly broken, and there will be no healing.
Proverbs 29:2Â When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people sigh.
Proverbs 29:3Â He who loves wisdom gladdens his father, but a feeder of harlots wastes wealth.
Proverbs 29:4Â A king establishes a land by justice, but a man taking bribes tears it down.
Proverbs 29:5Â A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.
Proverbs 29:6Â A snare is in the transgression of an evil man, but the righteous sing and rejoice.
Proverbs 29:7Â The righteous attends to the cause of the poor; the wicked does not discern knowledge.
Proverbs 29:8Â Scornful men blast a city, but the wise turn away anger.
Proverbs 29:9Â If a wise man disputes with a foolish man, either he shakes, or laughs, and there is no rest.
Proverbs 29:10Â Men of blood hate the blameless, but the upright seek his soul.
Proverbs 29:11Â A fool brings out all of his spirit, but holding back, the wise quiets it.
Proverbs 29:12Â To a ruler who listens to lying words, all his ministers are wicked.
Proverbs 29:13Â The poor and the injurious man meet together. Jehovah enlightens the eyes of both.
Proverbs 29:14Â A king that truly judges the weak shall have his throne established forever.
Proverbs 29:15Â The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a boy let loose causes shame to his mother.
Proverbs 29:16Â When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases; but the righteous shall see their fall.
Proverbs 29:17Â Discipline your son, and you will get rest, and it will give delight to your soul.
Proverbs 29:18Â Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained. But blessed is he, the one keeping the law.
Proverbs 29:19Â A servant is not corrected by words; though he discerns, there is no answer.
Proverbs 29:20Â Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than of him.
Proverbs 29:21Â He pampering his servant from youth, even afterwards in his days he shall be his successor.
Proverbs 29:22Â An angry man stirs up contention, and a furious one abounds in transgression.
Proverbs 29:23Â The pride of man brings him low, but the humble of spirit takes hold of honor.
Proverbs 29:24Â He who shares with a thief hates his soul; he hears a curse, but does not tell it.
Proverbs 29:25Â The fear of man brings a snare, but he trusting Jehovah is set on high.
Proverbs 29:26Â Many seek the face of the ruler, but the judgment of each man is from Jehovah.
Proverbs 29:27Â An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, and the upright of way are an abomination to the wicked.
