Just got this email..
We are writing to let you know about some very important news. SIGG has announced that any bottles made before 2008 had liners created with trace amounts of BPA. The liners used in SIGG bottles, were created by an outside company who claimed the liners to be BPA free. When SIGG discovered there was BPA, they created a new liner for their bottles. They have tested the old liner time and time again and confirmed them to be 100% leach free, so there is no safety issue.
To see the difference in the liners, please visit the SIGG website. The old liner is copper metallic colored and the new liner is cream colored.
